I have had a script sitting on the backbench for several years. The biggest concern was finding the right two actors to play the leads.

I have been involved in several short films as an actor lately and have been making some good connections. Today I was very fortunate to meet a potential candidate for one of the roles.

There is still a second character, one that has most of the dialog, and the issue of filming outdoor with the current wintery weather. I will have to start actioning this project.

I was at a friends house the other day for his kid’s 4th birthday when I ran in to a few old film buddies. We got to talking and it looks like we are all keen to re-open an old project that never quite got off the ground. It was a scifi concept yet concentrating on human interaction rather than on the action/technology side of things. Could be the beginning of a very exciting few months…

Afterwork productions is pleased to present their latest project in completion. Shot over a single evening in February, it follows the investigation of a paranormal investigation group as they explore a 160 year old hotel in Waiuku, Franklin.
